There it is, the list of lists, not consisting of the best songs as we see at so many parties, but one consisting of the best shows of last year according to you, the Gigit community. So let's dive into our archives to list the greatest and most special shows of 2023!

5. Billie Eilish

Where? Pukkelpop

When? August 18

After one of her most memorable shows at Pukkelpop 2019, there seemed to be some doubt as to whether she would be able to outdo herself this year. However, just to a few songs into her setlest, Billie seemed to squash these doubts completely as she wowed the audience with a killer performance.

Effortlessly, Billie's voice goes from big and bold to small and sensitive, while in between she also manages to take pleasure in connecting with her fans. Not to mention that Billie only turned 22 last month! No doubt we will see her back as a big favourite in years to come!

4. Metallica

Where? Johan Cruyff ArenA

When? April 27 & 29

Finding a non-5-star review is a rarity when talking about Metallica. Even when they perform at the Johan Cruyff ArenaA, which among some of our users may be known for its reverberating sounds.

With Metellica, you can be sure you're in for a world-class performance and a few even put that theory to the test by attending the same gig 2 days later. The result? 1 legendary band, 2 great shows and fun for 3!

3. P!nk

Where? Pinkpop

When? June 16

A little too slick perhaps, but when P!nk starts literally flying over you with conffetti on the left and fireworks on the right, we can well understand that you simply don't give a damn at that point.

And oh yeah, P!nk at Pinkpop, get it? Anything left to wish for?

2. Muse

Where? Malieveld

When? June 7

Many residents in the area weren't too thrilled, but that certainly didn't dampen the excitement. It must have just been a touch of jealousy when they read the reviews afterward, as it was super tight performance with an excellent, hit-packed setlist from start to finish. The only downside, in your opinion? It stayed light just a bit too long, causing the light show to not shine as brightly as it could. Shame on you, Mother Nature!

1. Queens of the Stone Age

Where? Pinkpop

When? June 17

‘Mind blown’, ‘Breathtaking’, ‘Couldn’t be better’ and ‘All-time #1’, just to quote a few of your many reviews in the app. The show of Queens of the Stone Age at Pinkpop was your absolute number one this year. The only additional wish that seemed to prevail among our users was that more of this is needed. Another show like this at Pinkpop or any other random venue or festival.
